Tasting - Bricco Dei Tati Rose

Name: Bricco Dei Tati Rose
Variety: 100% Barbera
Region: Piedmont
Country: Italy
Year: 2012
Price: $6.95

Shop Review: Fresh with aromas of strawberries, cherries, and rose petals, this is an ideal wine with shellfish, salads, chicken, and appetizers (Vintage Cellar).

Personal Review: This wine had a very interesting nose that reminded me of banana and strawberry candy. It had a very sweet and enticing nose. Surprisingly, it was more bitter on the palate than what I had been anticipating. Cherry was the most prominent flavor. It was overall extremely dry, and I cannot say it was one of my favorite wines.
